Methanol (CH3OH) is produced by catalytic synthesis from carbon oxides and hydrogen, and used for organic synthesis processes. Methanol is a toxic liquid. There are two grades of methanol. Grade А is used for main organic synthesis processes and export delivery.

Methanol is transported in special-purposed tank cars, truck tanks, and steel barrels with 200 m3 capacity, in compliance with goods transportation regulations applied to this type of transport means.
