Paint and varnish remover (solvent) of grades А and B represents methyl acetate fraction, which constitutes byproduct of polyvinyl alcohol production. Paint and varnish remover of grades А-1 and B-1 represents product composed of acetaldehyde, acetone, methyl acetate, ethyl acetate, n-butyl alcohol, and also methyl alcohol. Used for dilution of oil paints, nitrocellulose enamels, and varnishes to working consistency. Grade А – used for industrial purposes. Grade B – used in retail trading.
