Solid carbon dioxide (dry ice) (СО2) is obtained from liquid or gaseous carbon dioxide. Solid carbon dioxide is used for low-temperature formation in refrigerated processing, storage, transportation, and commercialization of frozen and chilled food, and also for technical purposes.

Solid carbon dioxide is non-toxic, explosion-proof, may cause freeze burn of the skin and conjunctiva damage. Do not handle this product with unprotected hands.
Solid carbon dioxide is packaged in clean insulated containers or other cryogenic tanks.
Solid carbon dioxide is transported by any transport means, in compliance with goods transportation regulations applied to this type of transport means.
Piece of dry ice placed in special storage under normal atmospheric pressure (760 mm of mercury), is evaporated within 24 hours.
