Technical butyl acetate (normal butyl ether of acetic acid С6Н12О12) is produced in the process of etherification of acetic acid by butyl alcohol, used as dissolvent in various industries, and also for synthesis of chemicals.

Technical butyl acetate is a flammable liquid with a slight narcotic effect. Individual means of skin and respiratory system protection must be used while handling this product.
Commercial normal butyl ether of acetic acid is transported in tank cars by railroad by automobile transport by vessels in compliance with goods transportation regulations applied to this type of transport means.
Shelf life – 6 months from the date of production.
