For ninth-grade students at the Serra do Salitre public school, the focus was on spatial awareness and risk perception. The aim of this work is to teach young people to independently identify and minimize threats in their everyday lives.
Training like this is extremely important. By understanding the specific risks in their region, children and teenagers become better prepared to make quick and effective decisions in emergency situations.

Environmental Awareness Workshop
At the same time, an environmental awareness workshop was organised for fourth-grade students at the Senator Lucio Bittencourt Municipal School. The event was carefully tailored to the young audience.
The students had the opportunity to closely explore elements of local nature: trees, fruits, birds and small animals. The initiative aimed to take children beyond the traditional school environment to interact directly with nature, fostering their curiosity, sensitivity and critical thinking.

Throughout the year, meetings with residents of Serra do Salitre and neighbouring areas cover a wide range of topics. The themes are carefully aligned with key calendar dates to ensure the information shared is relevant and timely.
Regardless of the topic or target audience – whether children, young people or adults – our aim is to encourage people to reflect on the issues raised, inspiring participants to become ambassadors for these values.
