EuroChem named best Russian HR 2011

EuroChem announced today that it was recognized as the winner of the 7th National “Best Russian HR”. The award highlights the company’s success in its implementation of efficient human resources policies.

EuroChem ranks among the leaders in terms of remuneration in the regions where it operates as well as in the Russian chemical sector. In 2010, it dedicated RUB 272 million roubles to social projects for employees. Such investments allow the company to attract and retain talented individuals for its investment projects. A key part of EuroChem’s growth strategy is the development of the Gremyachinskoe potash deposit. In addition to investments in transportation, utilities, and social infrastructure, EuroChem plans to create over 3,000 new jobs to support its potash production there.

Recognized as one of the best in the Russian industrial sector, EuroChem’s internship program is another pivotal component of the company’s acclaimed HR management. The internship program benefits from the company’s network of training centers and the cooperation agreements it has in place with six Russian universities. Every year, 100 students are given the opportunity to intern at EuroChem. Over the last few years, the company hired over 1,000 recent graduates, including 182 in 2010.
