Zug, Switzerland, 29 September 2016 – EuroChem Group AG (“EuroChem” or the “Group”), a leading global agrochemical company, today announces further strategic expansion in Central and Eastern Europe through the creation of a distribution centre in Hungary. This will support the Group’s growth, giving it access to local farmers whilst strengthening its footprint in this region.

The new centre will mainly distribute a range of EuroChem’s products, including premium fertilisers, and provide local farmers with unique agrotechnology solutions. In addition, it will distribute specialty fertilisers produced by Fertilia Ltd., a leading Hungarian producer and distributor of such fertilisers.

Dmitry Strezhnev, EuroChem’s CEO, commented: “The opening of our distribution centre in Hungary will provide local farmers with an expanded, more streamlined access to an array of our fertiliser products and solutions for agriculture designed to improve crop yield and its quality.
