EuroChem and Moscow State Mining University sign cooperation agreement

EuroChem today announced it has signed a cooperation agreement with the Moscow State Mining University (MSMU). The agreement covers the long-term collaboration between the two parties, including EuroChem internships for recently graduated mining engineers and advanced training for EuroChem personnel.

MSMU will update its curriculum to reflect EuroChem’s professional training requirements with particular emphasis on the knowledge and skills expected of today’s professionals, including in management and industrial safety as well as in production analysis, planning, control and quality.

To enhance career guidance in schools and prepare students for their admission to universities cooperating with EuroChem, the Company provides additional professional training at MSMU for teachers of mathematics and physics working in the cities where EuroChem has a presence. Teachers receive the opportunity to further improve their skills and MSMU representatives provide tutoring sessions to students in key subjects of the Russian Uniform State Exam.

As part of the agreement, over 500 hours of training will be provided to EuroChem personnel, including in mining technology, as well as in postgraduate and doctoral studies for highly qualified specialists.

This program will allow EuroChem to train future employees and speed up the adaptation process, while contributing to the implementation of the key objectives of the government youth policy aimed at training engineering and design personnel for the strategic sector of manufacturing.
