EuroChem wins 2011 RSPP award

The Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP) has awarded EuroChem the “Russia’s Best Companies: For Development of Non-Financial Reporting in the Chemical Industry” award.

The award, given for the company’s corporate sustainability report, which highlighted the transparency and quality of the company’s dialogue with stakeholders, was presented by RSPP President Alexander Shokhin.

The RSPP holds the “Russia’s Best Companies” awards annually in order to identify the fastest-growing companies and help support initiatives that recognize responsible business practices.

These include developing non-financial reporting, promoting the free flow of information and improving transparency and dialogue with stakeholders.

In 2011, EuroChem won two “Leaders of Corporate Philanthropy in Russia 2011” awards—one for its corporate social programs and the other for its non-financial reporting. The Corporate Charity Ranking awards are run by the Vedomosti newspaper, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and the nonprofit Donors Forum.
